Shining His Light on the supernatural world through His Word and His Spirit

The double dipper

Mar 04, 2022 by Scott R. Sullivan

Ever since I decided to write a series of blogs dealing with spiritual warfare, ironically and yet not, spiritual warfare has stepped up to a new level. Every night I lay down to go to bed, I get slammed with awful thoughts and dreams. This is a lot how the enemy likes to attack. He will come at us when we are weak and not in full combat readiness. That being said, this also excites me because I know that the enemy of our souls is not happy and that means God’s Great Kingdom is going forth.

The only thing I like two scoops of is vanilla ice cream, on a waffle cone, with sprinkles. Yes, I am adult enough to say it and carry a sprinkle dipped cone like a boss. Delicious! Haha! This week brought a double dip in my life, but not of an ice cream variety.

The first double dip came in Heaven. My trips to Heaven have really been happening frequently again. I am super excited to share them all with you soon again! New book coming this year ????

I had just finished writing about my experience with meeting a Bible character in Heaven at the beginning of the week, when The Holy Spirit took me back to Heaven to meet another Bible character. Both trips were very adventurous to say the least and God has so much to share with you when the book is complete. It truly will change you as it has and is changing me.

Heaven double dips are a new experience for me for sure. Up to this point there has been sizeable gaps in between trips as I was given time to absorb each one. But as God set it in my heart to write a 3rd book, He quickly burdened me that this time would be different. He spoke to my heart that time is getting short, and there is much to do in a short period of time remaining. If you have read either of my first two books, then you have a sense of the lead up to each of my Heavenly blast offs. You’ve read how The Holy Spirit has had to get me in a certain place emotionally or mentally to be ready for my latest trip. Not this time, this time He has taken me there multiple times, this year alone, with no lead up or circumstantial set up.

Time is short, keep the oil full in your lamps…

““Then the kingdom of heaven shall be likened to ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. Now five of them were wise, and five were foolish. Those who were foolish took their lamps and took no oil with them, but the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. But while the bridegroom was delayed, they all slumbered and slept.

“And at midnight a cry was heard: ‘Behold, the bridegroom is coming; go out to meet him!’ Then all those virgins arose and trimmed their lamps. And the foolish said to the wise, Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out.’ But the wise answered, saying, ‘No, lest there should not be enough for us and you; but go rather to those who sell, and buy for yourselves.’ And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding; and the door was shut.

“Afterward the other virgins came also, saying, ‘Lord, Lord, open to us!’ But he answered and said, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, I do not know you.’

“Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour in which the Son of Man is coming.””—Matthew 25:1-13 NKJV

I had just finished writing about my first Heavenly trip late that afternoon. My mind and heart were spent as He had flowed His Power through me earlier that day both in my trip there and me talking about it later. I was in recoup mode when I simply walked upstairs to my bedroom to get a change of clothes. This simple action took a sudden turn, when a menacing presence could be felt just behind me. A chilling sense was in the room.

Whispers entered my mind:

“Your worthless.”

“You will never amount to anything.”

“Do you really think your experiences are real?”

The voices hissed through my mind…

I felt uneasy and off balance, but only for a moment or two. Righteous anger began to rise in me.

The voices hissed again:

“We are not afraid of you.”

With that my righteous anger reached a fever pitch.

“You are right, you should not fear me, I have no power. But you will fear the One Who lives within me. You will fear His Power. In the Almighty, unstoppable, unchallengeable, Name above all names, Jesus, I command you by His authority to leave this place,” I said.

The arrogant look that once coursed across the demons face moments ago, changed to utter fear as it fell down on it’s back and started to crawl backwards in a panic. I faced it directly and then I prayed that God would release His mighty angels into the room. A couple dozen arrived and surrounded this strong man with his three other spirits that had come along with him. All the evil spirits were in panic fear now. Their eyes darting back and forth as they were suddenly surrounded on all sides. They had their authority checked by the Authority of the One Who lives within me.

As suddenly as they came, they left twice as swift, fleeing in all directions.

Never operate out of arrogance…

Know Who’s you are…

Rest in Him…

Walk in His Authority and be Kingdom focused…

Time is short, be diligent about His plans and His ways…

Until next time,

Much love,

Scott
